This course demonstrates how various portable fire protection products are used in emergency situations. The unit covers demonstrating the use of a portable fire extinguisher, a fire hose reel and a fire blanket.
Who should attend?
All businesses in Australia have to provide a safe workplace for all employees, visitors & contractors. Building Fire Safety Regulation 1991 states that all workplaces are to be fitted with adequate fire fighting equipment and have annual fire instruction and evacuation training.
This Fire Extinguisher course gives an ideal starting point in learning to manage minor fires that may occur in any workplace and also includes theory and practical components to ensure that your staff will be able to handle fire emergencies correctly.

- Use portable fire extinguishers to extinguish a simulated fire
- Demonstrate correct usage of a fire hose reel
- Demonstrate correct usage of a fire blanket
