Two of the biggest challanges facing anyone caring for a child are Anaphylaxis and Asthma.  At the most unexpected time, you can be called on to manage a child suffering from one of these conditions.  It is vital to get the skills and knowledge you need to handle these situation in the best way possible.

It's vital to learn the skills needed to manage these two critical situations.  Usually this means attending to seperate courses and listening to a lecture.  To make it easier to get the skills and knowledge you need you can now attend a single, simple hands on course.  Here's what you will learn:

Managment of Anaphylaxis

This section is delivery of the approved "Course in first aid management of Anaphylaxis (22099VIC)".  It is a nationally recognised course and is the standard for child care workers.  It covers the key areas of:

• Signs and symptoms of Anaphylaxis
• Understanding Personal action plans
• Treatment
• Using an Auto-Injector (Epi-pen and Ana-pen)
• Workplace systems and protocols

This section of the course includes a theory componoent that you will need to study and complete in advance of attending the course.  When you book we will send out all the resources you need to be prepared for the day.

On sucessful completion of the course you will receive a nationally recognised certificate.

Emergency management of Asthma

This section of the course delivers the nationally recognised "Course in emergency management of Asthma in the workplace (22024VIC)" and covers:

• Signs and Symptoms
• Asthma Management plans
• First Aid treatment

On sucessful completion of this course you will receive two nationally recognised certificates.
