Unit codes:  HLTFA301C (Apply First Aid), HLTFA402C (Apply advanced first aid) and HLTFA403B (Manage first aid in the workplace)

This Nationally Recognised Training course is designed to meet the needs of those who require or would like to obtain a higher level of preparedness in order to adequately handle a workplace emergency, until the arrival of an ambulance. Occupational First Aid is now a skill set under the national VET training system.  Personnel requiring this qualification must complete 3 elements within the Health training package to obtain the skill set  These units are: HLTFA301C Apply First Aid  

1. You will be required to complete the first unit – HLTFA301B Apply First Aid, at a date and venue that is convenient to you. (Please see our Apply First Aid Fastrack page for dates and venues.) This must be done prior to attending your 2 day face-to-face course.
2. Book and attend your 2 day face-to-face course, conducted at our Glendenning venue.  Here you will cover the final 2 units - HLTFA402C Apply Advanced First Aid and HLTFA403C Manage First Aid in the Workplace, to achieve your Occupational First Aid certificate.

Medilife will recognise all other current RTO delivered HLTFA301C Apply First Aid Statements of Attainment.
